Who do CDFAs™ work with?

Mediators or Collaborative Divorce Professionals

We can assist in negotiations both in the mediation or collaborative divorce process.  We act as a financial neutral, working with both parties to understand their finances, as well as the results of various settlement scenarios.  Financial knowledge and analysis enables divorcing couples to arrive at a fair and equitable resolution in a more timely cost efficient manner.

Attorneys

Attorneys seek our assistance as a consultant or to provide expert and joint or rebuttal testimony on separate property issues, gross income analysis, disposable income analysis, financial needs analysis, maintenance, child support, dissipation of marital assets, and many other issues.

Individuals

Individual clients, when considering or going through divorce, find it helpful for us to help them think through the financial implications of divorce and then help them develop various settlement options which they can discuss with their spouse or attorney.
